Maintenance and servicing
Maintenance and preventive maintenance are elementary components of a successful technical process chain in all industrial companies. These processes are also becoming increasingly important with regard to Industry 4.0.
In order to successfully implement and execute all of these points, IBE AG has developed a concept and programme in collaboration with the MCP network that will take your maintenance processes to the next level in no time.
The implementation includes the following milestones
Sustainable qualification of your maintenance staff on site
Optimisation of your maintenance organisation and coordination with your processes
Maximising the technical availability of your systems
Optimisation of your maintenance processes
Optimisation of the framework conditions for your maintenance
Analysis of the life cycles of individual units and complete systems
Conversion of the process away from breakdown-oriented maintenance towards preventive maintenance
Work safety is increased and guaranteed
Production is effectively ensured

SPEED® = Strategic Process for Effectiveness and Efficiency Development
The SPEED® maintenance method developed by the MCP network is used for this purpose.
What is SPEED®?
a methodology for optimising maintenance and plant management
Takes into account effectiveness (= ‘doing the right things’) and efficiency (= ‘doing things right’)
integrates proven optimisation approaches (e.g. IPSA systems, TPM, RCM, teamwork, BSC)
is based on benchmarks and best practice approaches (AMIS database from MCP International)
is tailored to the main QM systems (e.g. EFQM, 9001:2000)
for the further development of existing organisations or their restructuring
supports the long-term security of your business location through competitive costs, high productivity and continuous performance improvement.
guarantees rapid and lasting success
How does SPEED® work?
SPEED® is a systematic 6-step process that focuses on cost drivers and the most important operational assets and performance areas.
SPEED® is implemented according to the PDCA cycle principle (Plan-Do-Check-Act).
- Plan = Planning: Determining the current situation in order to identify areas where action is needed and define objectives.
- Do = Execute: Implementation of activities by your employees based on prioritised action plans
- Check = Review: Review of activity implementation (actions, benchmarking, target achievement)
- Act = Correct: Possible revision of objectives and implemented solutions/activities
SPEED® uses practical and meaningful consulting tools (e.g. AMIS®, ORGSCAN®, FM-SCAN®).
The implementation of SPEED® actively involves your employees in the optimisation process and takes into account the individual circumstances of your company.
We welcome every new challenge.
